1. Who we are

YTShorts.ai is operated by Bhawika Kaushik, a sole proprietor ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of the YTShorts.ai website and application (the "Service"), which turns long-form video into short-form clips using AI, including Extract Shorts, Smart Short, AI Voiceover, and Auto Captions. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, credits, and billing

The Service is offered on Free, Pro, and Max plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card details. YTShorts.ai (not Razorpay) is the seller of record for these subscriptions and is responsible for any taxes applicable to the sale. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of credits that resets on your billing cycle; unused credits do not roll over. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the videos you upload and the clips generated from them. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transform it solely to provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any video you upload, and for how you use or publish the clips we generate.

By submitting a video to the Service — whether by direct upload or by providing a link to content hosted elsewhere — you represent and warrant that you own the copyright in that video or have obtained full authorization from the copyright holder to process it using the Service. You may not use the Service on any video you do not have the rights to use in this way.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or that you do not have permission to use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to circumvent usage limits, or violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated captions, voiceovers, and clip selections may contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing output before publishing it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
