YTShorts.ai

The best AI tools for Whop clipping, compared

There is no single best tool; it depends on what you clip and how you post. For the lowest cost on long videos and streams, among tools that price by the hour, use YTShorts.ai, from $2.99 a month. For auto-posting and a built-in editor, Opus Clip, from $15. For many short segments at a flat price per video, Ssemble. To fix clips by hand for free, CapCut. We make YTShorts.ai, so weigh this page accordingly: competitor figures are from their own pricing pages, and we say below where they beat us.

Prices were read from each tool's own pricing page on 2 November 2026, in US dollars. Ssemble's page showed us local-currency prices, so its dollar figure is the "from" price its site states. CapCut's prices vary by region, so we don't quote one. Prices change: check the linked page before you buy. YTShorts.ai is independent and is not affiliated with Whop, Content Rewards or any tool listed here.

What matters for clipping work

Campaign pay is usually a rate per 1000 views, so a tool only pays for itself if the clips get approved and watched. That makes cost per approved clip the useful number, not cost per generated clip or a virality score. No AI score knows your campaign's brief.

Length decides the bill on tools that charge by source video, including ours. A 4-hour stream costs 288 credits on YTShorts.ai Starter, nearly the whole 300-credit month, and we can't yet clip just part of a video in one job, so trim long files before uploading. Tools that charge per video or per clip behave differently: Ssemble makes you select a segment of up to 20 minutes, and Klap counts the clips you generate.

Watermarks matter too. A free-plan watermark can break a campaign's rules, including ours on Free, so plan on a paid tier for anything you submit.

Where YTShorts.ai falls short today

We have no auto-posting, no clip or caption-text editor, and no field for a campaign brief, so you read each clip against the brief yourself and fix anything with an editor such as CapCut. If you want those in one tool, Opus Clip or Vizard will suit you better.

Twitch and other stream recordings go in as a downloaded file you upload, and the same goes for footage a campaign shares through Google Drive or Dropbox. Clips per job stop at 10, so a very long source can give you fewer clips than a tool built around high clip counts.

Which should you choose?

Just testing whether clipping suits you: start with CapCut or a free plan, and pay only once a campaign has approved your clips. A single campaign paying $1 per 1000 views covers YTShorts.ai Starter at about 2990 paid views.

Clipping long podcasts and streams on a small budget: YTShorts.ai is about $0.72 an hour of source video on Starter, against about $6.00 on Opus Clip Starter and $2.90 on Vizard Creator. Ssemble can come close if you use the full 20 minutes of every video credit.

Posting at volume to several accounts: pay more for a tool with scheduling, such as Opus Clip or Ssemble, because the time saved is worth more than the price gap.

Common questions

What is the best AI tool for Whop clipping?

It depends on your workflow. Opus Clip is the most established and has auto-posting. Ssemble targets clippers with per-video pricing and scheduling. YTShorts.ai costs the least per hour among tools priced by source length, from $2.99 a month. We make YTShorts.ai, so compare the linked pricing pages yourself.

Is there a free AI clipping tool for Whop campaigns?

Several tools have free plans, but most add a watermark, which a campaign's rules can forbid. YTShorts.ai's free plan gives 50 credits a month with a watermark. CapCut is a free manual editor with auto captions.

Will using an AI tool get my clips rejected?

We know of no general rule against it, but each campaign sets its own rules, so read the brief. Clips are most often rejected for missing a required tag, link, length or language, which you need to check yourself whichever tool you use.

How much does YTShorts.ai cost for clipping?

Starter is $2.99 a month or $1.49 billed yearly, Pro $7.99 or $3.99, Max $15.99 or $7.99. A 1-hour source costs 72 credits with Extract Shorts on Starter and Pro, out of 300 and 800 credits a month.
